Our vision is to become the leading innovator and provider of eco-office solutions worldwide.
CBM Archives LLC dba The Second Leaf is a document management firm specializing in the creation and implementation of paperless environments in the workplace. Founded in 1992, our objective is to improve the efficiency and functionality of the workplace by reducing the handling and processing of paper and electronic documents. While implementing the paperless solutions, we recognized that offices can become even more environmentally-friendly by switching to sustainable products. This became the inspiration for The Second Leaf.
The Second Leaf is the first of its kind green office supply and technology provider. In one centralized location we deliver the largest selection of eco-friendly products at a cost efficient price. We are proud Founding Partners of the Austin EcoNetwork as well as Energy Star Partners and part of the EPEAT Partner Reseller Program (a program started by the Green Electronics Council). We strive to promote sustainability in the workplace by providing office supply and technology products tailored towards the benefits for being energy saving, cost efficient and made free from hazardous materials. Our agenda is to serve businesses and organizations large and small that share the same objective, maintaining and preserving a healthy environment.
Choosing the right suppliers is a critical step in providing truly environmentally friendly products to our customers. We work with domestic suppliers that are strategically located throughout the nation to provide efficient delivery. Labor standards are also a very important factor in selecting our suppliers. Faulty labor standards can at times even offset the benefits of an eco-friendly product. For this reason we choose to work with companies who treat their workers with respect and comply with all state, federal and international (where applicable) labor laws and regulations. To ensure that our suppliers follow current laws and regulations, we review their business code of ethics. We reserve the right to terminate our relationship with any supplier who we find violates any laws.
